Tipton Woman Arrested for Possession of Meth
A 27-year old woman from Tipton was recently arrested for possession of methamphetamine in Moniteau County.
The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department says on Sunday (March 31), deputies checked on a possible stranded motorist on Highway 50 just outside of Tipton.
Upon contact with the driver, Sara M. James, authorities reportedly learned she was currently on probation for possession of a controlled substance. Deputies say a consent to search the vehicle was granted, in which methamphetamine, marijuana and paraphernalia was found.
James was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth) and Possession of Marijuana. She was taken to the Moniteau County Jail, with a bond of $25,500.00.
