Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Arrest of Tipton Resident
Moniteau County deputies recently arrested a 51-year old Tipton resident for possession of meth after a traffic stop on Highway 50.
The Moniteau County Sheriff's Office says on April 6, deputies conducted a traffic stop for a license plate violation. The driver was identified as Betty Lou Lindsey.
A consent to search the vehicle was reportedly granted and deputies located methamphetamine.
Lindsey was arrested and taken to the Moniteau County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth). Bond was set at $25,000.00.
