Two people were injured in a rollover accident involving an 18-wheeler on Tuesday morning in Morgan County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 2000 Kenworth, driven by 29-year-old Robert W. Venzant of West Memphis Crittenden, Arkansas, was attempting to make a right turn onto US 50 from Missouri 5 at 10 a.m., when the right trailer tires of the towed unit traveled into the ditch, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Venzant suffered minor injuries, while his passenger, 43-year-old Latinga S. Nelson, also of West Memphis Crittenden, Arkansas, suffered moderate injuries. Both were transported by ambulance to Bothwell Regional Hospital in Sedalia. Both were wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.
