Two Columbia, MO Businesses Rank Among Best in the Nation

Entrepreneur Magazine has released its fourth annual list of America's best privately-held companies. Making the cut this year are two central Missouri businesses.

The Entrepreneur 360 list ranks the 360 "Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America."

Honorees were identified based on the results from a comprehensive study of independently-owned companies, using a proprietary algorithm and other advanced analytics. The algorithm was built on a balanced scorecard designed to measure five metrics reflecting major pillars of entrepreneurship—innovation, growth, leadership, impact and business valuation.

The Columbia, Missouri businesses that made the list of 360 are:

Coegi (105): "Coegi is a media buying company that provides audience buying and managed services for independent brands and agencies. Coegi brings audiences and advertisers together through programmatic technology."

Influence & Co. (121): "Influence & Co. is a content marketing agency that helps clients strategize, create and distribute content that engages their target audiences."

"Our annual evaluation of vetted data offers a 360-degree analysis of top privately-held companies across a multitude of industries," said Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur Magazine, in a news release. "They are deemed successful not only by revenue numbers, but by how well-rounded they are. The companies that make the list have pushed boundaries with their innovative ideas, fostered strong company cultures, impacted their communities for the better, and increased their brand awareness."
