Two Injured in Cass County Accident

Two people were injured Thursday in Cass County in a two-vehicle wreck.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 1999 Ford Escort driven by 26-year-old Caleb G. Reininger of Fair Play turned left onto Highway 7 at Route T at 4:47 p.m. and was struck from behind by a northbound 2014 Volkswagen Passat driven by 29-year-old Samantha L. Fisher of Clinton.

Both were transported to Cass Regional Hospital by EMS with moderate injuries. Both drivers were wearing a safety device.

Both vehicles were totaled.
