Two Sedalia Drivers Collide

One Sedalia woman ran into another on Thursday afternoon, causing minor injuries.

According to the MSHP, an eastbound 2016 Toyota driven by 42-year-old Alla Y. Husyeva of Sedalia was stopped for road construction on Whitfield Road, 992 feet east of Gottschalk Road, at 5:08 p.m., when an eastbound 2018 Ford driven by 58-year-old Jennifer L. Wright struck the rear of the Toyota.

Wright suffered minor injuries and refused medical treatment on scene.

Both drivers were wearing a safety device.

The Toyota had minor damage, while the Ford had moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Don's Truck Towing.
