Two Sedalia Residents Arrested in Connection to Shooting
Two suspects have been arrested following a shooting that occurred Monday afternoon in Sedalia.
The Sedalia Police Department says just after 12:00 Monday afternoon, police responded to the 500 block of E. 2nd Street in reference to a man who had been shot.
Upon arrival, officers located the victim, identified as 32-year old Sean Clark, was suffering from several gunshot wounds. Pettis County Ambulance District transported Clark from the scene and he was ultimately flown to the University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, for treatment.
Officers from the Patrol Division and the Criminal Investigations Bureau investigated the incident and reportedly developed 2 suspects. Investigators were able to determine the suspects, identified as 24-year old Tyler J. Evans and 42-year old Tiffanie L. OMalley, both of Sedalia, were traveling on Interstate 70.
SPD says with the assistance of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the suspects were stopped in Lafayette County and taken into custody on drug-related charges at 4:45 p.m.
