Moniteau County authorities recently arrested two Sedalia residents on drug charges.

The Moniteau County Sheriff's Department says on Wednesday (June 19), deputies were dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Highway P near Jamestown, MO.

The reporting party stated there was a vehicle parked in their driveway, with a man and woman inside.

According to the report, the subjects appeared to be asleep inside the vehicle and the man was naked. Upon arrival, deputies located the woman sleeping on the passenger side and a nude man sleeping in the drivers' seat. The subjects were identified as 55-year old Elizabeth A. Knox and 37-year old Jeffrey R. Stoney, both of Sedalia.

Deputies woke the subjects up and had Stoney put clothes on. The subjects reportedly told authorities they "did not know where they were or how they got to that location."

Deputies reportedly observed two methamphetamine pipes in the vehicle. Authorities say Knox admitted to having more methamphetamine on her person, which was then seized.

Knox and Stoney were arrested and taken to the Moniteau County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance (meth) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with no bond.
