Two State Fair Community College staff members received awards at the annual Missouri College Personal Association (MoCPA) conference Sept. 28-30.

Katrina Grunzinger, director of Student Success and Retention Services, won the New Professional award. It is given to an individual with three years or less of experience in the profession who serves as a role model to students and professionals, demonstrating creativity and innovation in the field. She has worked at SFCC for two years.

Student Support Services program, won the Professional award. It is given to a staff member who has made significant contributions to student personnel work in higher education, either through specific accomplishments or long-term meritorious service. She has worked at SFCC for nearly 10 years.
