Well, it's officially back to normal for me after I went on a little vacation earlier last week.

Or, as close as it can be, that is.

So this wedding had been in the cards for a while now, and NJ and his whole friend group were ready to get out there and have some fun.  We decided to leave in the evening and drive through the night.

The way out there was about a fourteen hour drive.  So you can imagine, it was... challenging!  But, we did listen to some awesome podcasts, ate some good snacks, and documented most of it in pictures.  Here's the lowdown of how it went!

The Road Trippin

One thing, though.... I cannot emphasize enough that there is... a very big difference in the drivers on the east coast as opposed to here in Missouri.  I thought Missouri drivers were bad.

No.

Gentle reader.

No.

East coast drivers will literally cut across four lanes of busy traffic with no turn signal ON THE REGULAR. I swear, I saw it happen at least three times.  It was more common to get cut off then for someone to successfully merge.  I was kind of glad I wasn't driving.  NJ has more patience for that kind of stuff than I do.  He's such a patient dude, I would probably be a mess within maybe two hours or so.

So anyway, it ended up we made it back safe with no injuries', property damage, or arrests.  I mean, stuff got lost, stuff got broken, stuff got spilled (I'm a klutz), but in general, we made back with lots of memories and some souvenirs.

What was the last road trip you went on?  What was your favorite part of it?

RoadTrippingly yours,
Behka
