The VFW Auxiliary 2591 will host the first-ever Family Freedom Festival on April 14 in Downtown Sedalia.

The family-friendly event is free and will feature food, bounce houses, games, and more!

The VFW describes it as a festival to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy everyday.

There will also be a parade, fingerpainting for children, fire safety, crafts, two movies shown in the VFW Hall on S. Ohio Ave, along with free hot dogs and chips, sno-cones, popcorn, and cotton candy.
