If you are a St Louis Cardinals fan, then you know that Albert Pujols and Yadier Molina will probably be playing in their final seasons in baseball.

Their next stop will be in Cooperstown.  Adam Wainwright could also be playing his final season for the team.

To say that Waino and Yadi are "Best Buds" might be a pretty accurate statement.  They have played together for 17 seasons.  Legendary teammates for sure.  They could end up with 325 starts together.  That is a lot of games.

Budweiser had decided that the two of them deserve some special recognition.  How will this be accomplished?  With beer cans of course!

The cans have an illustration of the pair with the phrases “Legendary Teammates” and “17 seasons together.” The phrase “Best Buds” is on the bottom. The cans also have Busch Stadium and other St. Louis landmarks featured on them. You can read a bit more HERE.

The two of them were pretty surprised and obviously very honored.  You can check out the YouTube clip below:

Cardinals fans have the chance to win a signed limited-edition Yadi and Waino can. Starting on Thursday, fans can share their favorite memory of the duo in the comments on Bud social channels, @budweiserusa on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, using #BestBuds and #Sweepstakes.

I wonder if anyone who picks up these cans, will you keep the cans un-opened? Or do you consume the beer, wash out the cans and then display them somewhere.  Cardinals fans, what would you do?

And congratulations to the both of them.  Well deserved honor.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
