Warrensburg Man Injured in Rear-end Collision

A Warrensburg man was injured in a rear-end collision that occurred Saturday in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2015 Kia Soul was on US 50, west of NW 1601 Road at 6:10 p.m., when it slowed to make a right turn, and was struck from the rear by a westbound 1998 Toyota Camry, driven by 20-year-old Erick K. Mungai of Warrensburg.

Mungai suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The Kia had minor damage, while the Toyota had extensive damage.

Johnson County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
