A Warsaw man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Friday night in Henry County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2002 Ford, driven by 64-year-old Gerald A. Roth of Warsaw, was on Missouri 52 at Southwest 401 Road at 8:45 p.m., when the driver lost control on an ice-covered roadway. The vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.

Roth suffered serious injuries, and was transported by Golden Valley Ambulance to Golden Valley Memorial Hospital for treatment.

The Ford was totaled.
