Water Rescue in Pettis County

The Pettis County Fire Protection District, Pettis County Ambulance District, Pettis County Sheriff's Office and Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a request of a water rescue on Sunday on west Highway 50 at Muddy Creek Bottoms.

According to Pettis County Fire Chief Mike Harding, a call came in regarding a person in the water in the quarries. A boat was obtained by Pettis County Fire and the person was rescued, then taken from the scene by the Pettis County Ambulance District.
