S-C JROTC Raiders Take First in 5K at Waynesville

The Waynesville Raider meet is our 2nd-to-last meet before the big one!

NATIONALS!

Our kids have been working hard all year; they always show everyone great promise and dedication, no matter what.

There can and will be some setbacks like always, but with this team, you would never know it; they always have a smile on their faces, and it's always nice to see it.

Our Raiders are very excited to show off what they can do and what they have been training for. For the past few months, they have put in all their hard work and dedication so they can go beat some butts!

As you can tell from the results of the teams, our Male Raiders took 1st place in the 5k race. In the Obstacle Course, they placed 3rd. PTT was 2nd, Rope Bridge was 1st, and CCR was 1st.

They had gotten 1st overall! Good job to our male team; you did an excellent job.

Our Female Raiders got 1st in the 5K race, in the Obstacle course they got 2nd, PTT they placed 2nd, Rope Bridge they placed 2nd, and CCR they got 2nd.

They had gotten 2nd overall! Good job to our Female Team, you ladies did fantastic!

Another great way to get kids to stay trained and motivated is by marching with a good cadence.

It's our “marching music”, one of the best ways of keeping our kids in line and a great way to make it a bit more fun!

It also allows us to put on a great show, and demonstrate our voices so we can show the public, opposing schools and etc., what we can do to be seen.
