Hill, 89, of Olathe, KS, passed away on June 20, 2013, from natural causes.   The funeral service will be held at 1:30pm, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home, 701 S. Osage Ave., Sedalia, Mo. Rev. Jeremy Freeman, of St. Paul Lutheran Church will be officiating. Visitation will be held at 12:30pm at Ewing-Schutte-Semler Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral at Memorial Park Cemetery, 3306 Greenridge Rd., Sedalia, MO at 2:30pm.   Bill was born in Sedalia, MO on March 1, 1924. He attended Hughesville High School in Hughesville, MO. Bill was a Sgt. in the 777th Anti-aircraft Automatic Weapons Battalion serving in many campaigns in World War II from 1943-1945.   Bill was married to Lola Rieck on November 7, 1945; they were married for nearly 50 years, until Lola passed away in 1995. He married Beverly Davis on August 3, 1996; they were married 10 years until Beverly passed away in 2006.   Bill was Vice President of Maintenance for Crouse Cartage Company of Carroll, Iowa for 25 years. Bill enjoyed camping, grilling and traveling our beautiful country. Bill and Lola were founding members of Bell's and Beau's square dancing club in Omaha, NE. Bill was a long time member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sedalia.   Bill is survived by his sister Mary Trusty of Fayette, MO, daughter Dianne (Hill) and her husband Ron Hulsebus of Sun Valley Lake, IA, daughter Donna (Hill) Barger of Salem, VA, son Wayne Hill and his wife Joan of Olathe, KS, step-son Roy Arnett and his wife Mary of Houstonia, MO and step-son Ray Arnett of Sedalia, MO. Bill had six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.   Bill is preceded in death by brothers Thomas and Kenneth Hill, sister Ardella Hejtmanek and son-in-law Vernie Barger.   In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home. Bill's family wishes to thank the wonderful, compassionate and caring staff of Olathe Medical Center for the love they showed him.
