* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches.

* WHERE...Pettis and Cooper Counties.

* WHEN...From 9 PM Thursday evening to 6 PM CST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.

Another round of wintry weather is expected Thursday into Friday. Along and south of HWY 50 may see predominantly rain through the day. Precipitation will switch to all snow Thursday evening and push through the night, before making a gradual west to east exit through the day Friday.

Thursday

Drizzle and snow likely before noon, then rain likely. Patchy fog before 2pm, then patchy fog after 3pm. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 38. South wind 5 to 7 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Thursday Night

Snow, possibly mixed with rain, becoming all snow after 11pm. Patchy fog. Low around 32. Light and variable wind becoming north northwest 6 to 11 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Friday

Snow likely, mainly before noon. Cloudy, with a high near 34. Northwest wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
