During its March 3 meeting, the Sedalia 200 Board of Education approved P.J. Ximinies as assistant principal at Sedalia Middle School, effective July 1, 2025.

The movement of fourth grade to SMS starting in the 2025-26 school year created the need for an additional administrative position at the school.

Ximinies is currently an instructional coach at Heber Hunt Elementary School, a role he has held for the past two school years. He previously served as a fifth-grade science teacher at SMS from 2019-2021, a seventh- and eighth-grade science teacher at Ewing Marion Kauffman School in Kansas City (2021-22) and a science teacher at Smith-Cotton Junior High (2022-23).

He earned a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2019 from Missouri Valley College in Marshall and a master’s degree in Educational Administration in 2021 from Missouri Valley.

SMS Principal Jeremy Fry said, "It has been exciting to witness Mr. Ximinies' journey from his initial hiring in the district to his growth as a teacher and instructional coach.

As part of the leadership team that hired him at SMS, I saw his potential from the very beginning. Now, having him return to his roots as my assistant principal, I am thrilled to see that same vision come full circle as he helps lead our school into the future."
