Wood’s Express reports a gas drive off, suspect arrested

At 10:27am Wednesday morning Sedalia Police took a gas drive off complaint from Wood’s Express in the 700 block of East Broadway. According to the complainant a suspect pumped $29 in gas then drove off. The police report states the suspect, 32-year-old Amy M. Wood of Sedalia was located and arrested. Wood was transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was booked and released with a court date.

Two Marshall Teens involved in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning

Around 7:40am Wednesday morning the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident on Wildcat Road a half mile South of 270th Lane in Saline County. The accident reportedly occurred as the driver 16-year-old Rachel E. Sporleder of Marshall lost control of the 2003 KIA she was driving, and ran off the roadway. The vehicle then overturned before coming to rest. Sporleder, and a passenger Rebekah Sporleder of Marshall received minor injuries in the crash, but both refused treatment at the scene.
