Two Kansas City Kansas residents arrested on multiple drug related charges

Just after mid-night this (Thursday) morning Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle in the 3600 block of South Limit for a lane violation.  A check on the occupants revealed a passenger 27-year-old Michael Landis Thompson of Kansas City Kansas had an active Clay County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. The female driver identified as 34-year-old Chrystal Glenn also of Kansas City Kansas gave her consent to search the vehicle, and the K9 Charlie alerted on methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. The police report also states a gun was also located in the vehicle. At the time of the police report both suspects were on 24-hour hold in the Pettis County pending drug related charges. Thompson also had the charge of failure to appear on the Clay County Warrant, and Glenn had an additional charge of unlawful possession of a concealable weapon.

24-year-old Homeless woman arrested on a Parole Violation Warrant

Around 12:36 this (Thursday) Morning Sedalia Police conducted a subject check in the 1200 block of South Massachusetts. Upon arrival officers made contact with the suspect 24-year-old Crystal G. Thomas a homeless person. Following confirmation from dispatch Thomas was arrested and transported to the Pettis County jail where she was held on a no-bond parole violation warrant.

Disturbance call in the 1500 block of West 9th results in arrest for a Sedalia man

The Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 1500 block of West 9th at 8:22 Saturday night. Upon arrival officers located 39-year-old Daniel R. Lee of Sedalia who was found to a warrant out of Warsaw for failure to appear. Lee was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a $1000 bond.

Man’s information used to fraudulently open a KCP&L Account

At 5:38 Saturday night a victim in the 500 block of West 6th reported a case of identity theft to the Sedalia Police. According to the victim someone used his information to fraudulently open a utility account with KCP&L. There were no suspects at news time.
