Afternoon: Sedalia Police Crime Reports For Thursday September 17, 2015

43-year-old Sedalia man arrested for assault

Wednesday afternoon the Sedalia Police investigated a domestic disturbance in progress . Upon arrival at the residence the report states the female victim had obvious injuries to her face and neck. Arrested at the scene was 43-year-old Jason William Harvey of Sedalia. He was transported to the Pettis County jail and placed on 24-hour hold pending charges of 3rd degree domestic assault, and assault 3rd degree.

Thieves target a vehicle in the 1500 block of South Mildred

At 10am this (Thursday) morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of South Mildred on a theft from a motor vehicle complaint. According to the victim sometime between Midnight and 7am this (Thursday) morning someone entered her vehicle and stole a gold ring, a fuzzy blanket, and some lighters from the center console. Value of the items was placed at $330.
