Why I want to Live to be 100; An answer to Dr. Ezekiel’s book ” Why I want to die at 75″

Why I want to live to be 100 (An answer to “Why I want to die at 75”

Okay I don’t normally respond to stupidity, but this time it is personal. A so called Doctor with apparently no bedside manner named Doctor Ezekiel Emanuel age 57 has written a book with that name

America’s Problems, Be A Part of the Solution [OPINION]

America's problems, be a part of the solution

By Glenn Mollette

While ISIS horrifically beheaded Steven Sotloff and James Foley, some Americans were being inconvenienced on airplanes. Most of us are spoiled and when we stop and think for a minute our inconveniences are small in comparison to so much else in the world

The NFL Should Not Delay Games for Weather [OPINION]

The NFL season is young, but I'm already seeing a trend this year that I really don't want to see anymore. There have already been three games delayed or suspended due to weather. Bring the Black Bear Back to the Pettis County Courthouse [OPINION]

On Monday, July 22, the Sedalia City Council held a work session, and as a newsman for Townsquare Media here in Sedalia, I was there in that capacity. One of the topics of conversation that received the most response from everyone prior to the work session was the items of history that were displayed for many years in the Pettis County Courthouse, and of course, the Black Bear that was enclosed in a glass case and sat facing the Ohio Street entrance to greet people as they entered.

Jack Miller: Why I Support Sedalia’s Proposed Smoking Ban [OPINION]

While I attempt to stay as neutral as possible on issues I cover for the news, sometimes comments on an issue beg to be addressed. One of those issues is the smoking ban, that has been cussed and discussed to death both in the city council meetings and in the media, including in my news reports.

Does Neanderthal DNA Make You Racist? [OPINION]

The other night I was watching a program on the History channel about Neanderthal man, and how DNA tests show that we have some of their genes.
