The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting pavement repairs and resurfacing operations on U.S. Route 65 at the Lafayette county line ending south of Marshall where U.S Route 65 divides to four lanes beginning July 24 at 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily until the beginning of November.

Crews will also be adding a southbound left turn lane at Morrow Street during this time. Daily lane closures will occur with flagging operations throughout the length of the project. There could be delays in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
