So we all know technology changes constantly. What might have been a commonly used every day item could be gone in a second (pagers, anyone?). Telephone landlines are on a steep decline with the rise of cell phones, and I think TV could be headed in that direction as well.

Personally, I haven't had regular television for the last three years. First of all, I'm just not a big TV guy. I love sports, but I just can't really get into many television shows. It's a fraction of the price, and between Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming sites, I really have not missed cable TV at all. For sports, I either use a site that streams the game live or just go to a sports bar. I simply hook my computer up to my full sized television with an HDMI cable and there's really not much of a difference.

Now I could be the weird one here for not having cable/satellite television, but I was talking with BJ over at Brian's Gym and he does the same thing, and so do a few of my friends back home.

So I was wondering, could you live without traditional television? Let us know in our poll below, or get points for answering it here.
