Funeral Announcements for November 14, 2023

A memorial service for Henry Thomas Hood, II, 88, of Sedalia, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery, with military honors conducted by the United States Navy.

Funeral service for Roy Eugene Kabler, 92, of Sedalia, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, at Broadway Baptist Church.  The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia. Burial will be at Highland Sacred Gardens, with full military honors conducted by the Sedalia VFW Post #2591 and the United States Army.

A memorial service for Paul A. Kirby, 71, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.

Funeral service for Margaret Louise Harlan, 92, Sedalia, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24 at McLaughlin Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Tessie Elizabeth Hall age 87, of Osawatomie, Kansas, died Wednesday November 8, 2023 at Olathe Medical Center surrounded by her family. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home, Osawatomie, Kansas. There will be a second visitation at Heckart Funeral Home, Sedalia, from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday, November 16, 2023.  Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Friday, November 16, 2023 at New Bethel Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eddy-Birchard Funeral Home. Local arrangements are under the direction of Heckart Funeral Home.
