Illinois Woman Injured in Lake of the Ozarks Accident

A 68-year-old Illinois woman was taken to the hospital around 6 p.m. on July 11 when the boat she was riding in struck a large wake at the Lake of the Ozarks. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Sandra Ferega of Darien, IL fell in the boat and was injured. She was taken by Lake Ozark Fire Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for the treatment of moderate injuries.
