Johnson County Accident Injures Warrensburg Man

A 26-year-old man was seriously injured in an accident in Johnson County Sunday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a 2011 Chevrolet, driven by Emilio Diaz of Warrensburg, failed to negotiate a curve on 23 Highway at SE 275 Rd. The vehicle traveled off the road, struck a sign, overturned and came to rest down an embankment.

Diaz was taken by the Johnson County Ambulance District to Centerpoint Hospital. The vehicle was totaled in the accident.
