Three women were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred Thursday afternoon in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2007 Dodge, driven by 20-year-old Eryn T. Barr of Warrensburg, was stopped in the left lane of US 50 waiting to turn at a crossover that was occupied by another vehicle onto Route D (just east of Knob) around 4:30 p.m., when an eastbound 2016 Ford, driven by 18-year-old Faith M. Lewis of Sedalia, overtook and struck the Dodge.

Barr suffered minor injuries, while Lewis and her passenger, 49-year-old Sondra J. Sigmund of Warrensburg, suffered moderate injuries. All were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD for treatment.
