A Lone Jack woman was injured in a three-vehicle accident that occurred Tuesday morning in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a westbound 2004 Chevy Venture, driven by 59-year-old Sharyn Simmons of Lone Jack, was stalled in the left lane due to the ice-covered roadway at 7:37 a.m., when a westbound 2016 Chevy 1500, driven by 38-year-old Jason L. Orender of Sugar Creek, struck the Venture in the rear and spun counterclockwise, striking a westbound 2019 Nissan Rouge, driven by 62-year-old Daniel J. Bielefeldt of Warrensburg.

All vehicles came to rest on the right side of the roadway. All drivers were wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

Simmons suffered minor injuries, and was taken by private vehicle to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

The Rogue had extensive damage, while the two Chevys were totaled.

Johnson County Deputies assisted the Trooper on scene.
