One Man Injured Following Vehicle Collision in Johnson Co.

A 74-year old man was sent to an area hospital following a vehicle collision Wednesday afternoon in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 4:00, on Route AA at NW 370 Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2014 Fiat attempted to make a left turn when it pulled into the path of a 2016 Ford, causing the vehicles to collide. The Fiat rotated around and came to rest. The Ford traveled off the road, struck a fence, and then came to rest in a field.

A passenger in the Ford, 74-year old Gary A. Jewell, of Kingsville, MO, suffered moderate injuries in the wreck. Jewell was taken, by ambulance, to Centerpoint Hospital for treatment.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene and no other injuries were reported.
