Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies arrest  21-year-old Sedalia man at Liberty Park

At 7:37 Thursday night, Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Liberty Park to assist a Missouri Conservation agent with two male subjects. Upon arrival, the deputies found that one of the suspects, identified as 21-year-old Wayne T. Coslet of Sedalia, had an active Pettis County warrant. At the time of the Sheriff’s report, Coslet was being held in the Pettis County Jail pending a $5000 bond.

Shoplifter arrested at the Dollar General at 700 North Ohio

Around 2:45 Wednesday afternoon, Sedalia Police responded to the Dollar General located at 700 North Ohio on a shoplifter. Following an investigation, officers arrested 35-year-old Kelly Deigan of Sedalia and transported her to the Pettis County Jail. She was placed on 24-hour hold pending the filing of state charges.

Warsaw man arrested for driving while revoked this (Friday) morning

Just after 8 this morning, Sedalia Police investigated a disturbance in the 2300 Block of West Main. Sedalia Police observed a vehicle drive away then return to the parking lot. A check on the driver revealed that he was revoked. The police report states the people involved in the disturbance, which was the reason for the call, did not want to press charges against each other. The driver of the vehicle, 34-year-old Michael Perry of Warsaw was arrested at the scene and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending charges.

Sedalia man arrested on traffic related charges Thursday evening

At 6:40 Thursday evening Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle near Booneville and Emmett Avenue for failing to stop at a stop sign. A check on the driver, 51-year-old Alvin Baer of Sedalia, revealed he did not have an operator’s license. Baer was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released pending formal charges.

Break Time at 808 East Broadway reports a theft

Just before 3:30 this morning, Sedalia Police took a theft complaint at the Break Time Convenience Store at 808 East Broadway. According to the complainant, a male suspect left the store with a 20-pack of Bud Light valued at $15.79, without paying. The suspect had not been located at the time of the police report.
