On February 26th, just after 7:00 in the evening, in the 3200 block of West Broadway, Sedalia Police officers responded for a theft report. Two subjects left a business without paying for items. The complaintint was able to provide a vehicle description and partial plate numbers. The vehicle was located a short-time later and a traffic stop was conducted. The female driver admitted to stealing the items. Arrested at the scene was 26 year old Ashley Ann Paris for shoplifting. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a bond of $533.50. A male passenger was also arrested for previously trespassing at the store. Police also arrested 26 year old Timothy LeMaire and transported to the Pettis County Jail and given a bond of $283.50, cash or surety.

 

Around 12:30 in the afternoon on February 29th, a victim reported to Sedalia Police that someone had used his information to get a loan through Speedy Cash Online, a payday loan company, for $750.00. There is reportedly still $222.50 owed on the account. There are no suspects at this time.

 

Also, on February 29th, in the 2400 block of Acker Drive, officers took a report of theft. Someone had cut-out about $15,000.00 worth of copper wiring on a house that is being built. There were no other details listed in that police report and there are no suspects in the case.
