Members of the Western Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force and Sedalia Police officers served a search warrant at 2005 South Harrison Avenue Friday afternoon (Apr 28). According to the report, authorities served the search warrant around 3:00, stemming from an investigation into the possession of child pornography. The suspect, 40-year-old Christopher L. Richard, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. There were no further details listed in the report.


On Friday (Apr 28). Sedalia Police responded to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a subject check. According to the report, hospital employees and police had told the subject to leave but he refused. Officers attempted to arrest the man, but he began fighting with them, according to the report. The subject, 37-year-old Clinton R. White, was eventually arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail, for trespassing and resisting arrest.


Just after 9:00 Thursday night (Apr 27), Sedalia Police responded to the 1000 block of South Ohio Avenue for two subjects trespassing. According to the report, the subjects had been served eviction notices and were no longer allowed on the property. Dispatch confirmed that one of the suspects, 35-year-old Joseph D. Harris, had a Benton County warrant for Non-Child Support. Harris was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $2,500 bond.
