Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Buckner Court Wednesday night (May 31), in reference to a disturbance with weapons. Upon arrival, officers arrested a juvenile subject. While police were speaking to witnesses, the juvenile's mother reportedly began to shout and use profane language. The mother, 36-year old Victoria J. Dolci, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail. There were no further details listed in the report.


Around 6:30 Wednesday evening (May 31), Sedalia Police responded to the 1400 block of West 14th Street for a civil standby. The victim stated that the suspect made contact with her in reference to domestic assault. According to the report, the suspect, 21-year old Wayne Andrew Gravitt, had been arrested earlier in the day for the assault. The victim told police that Gravitt was trying to convince her not to pursue charges. Gravitt was eventually arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges for tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution.


Just after 3:00 Monday morning (May 29), Sedalia Police responded to the 400 block of South Engineer Ave. for a reported burglary. Police made contact with the caller, and according to the report, after a brief investigation, officers determined the caller provided false information about his identity. The suspect was eventually identified as 27-year old James Franklin Rose. Police arrested Rose and transported him to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released, pending state charges of Identity Theft.
