Sedalia Police responded to the 1200 block of South Washington Avenue around 8:45 Tuesday morning (Apr 11), on a report of a man with active warrants. Officers made contact with the suspect, 23-year-old Tevin Lamar Auntley. According to the report, Auntley had 2 warrants. One was a felony FTA warrant from Pettis County and the other a FTA warrant from the City of Sedalia. Auntley was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a total bond of $15,090.50.


Around 1:30 Tuesday afternoon (Apr 11), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of West 3rd Street for a reported assault. Officers made contact with the victim and suspect. According to the report, the victim had noticeable minor injuries. The suspect, 40-year-old Michael James Darrough, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail, pending formal charges of 3rd Degree Assault.


Sedalia Police met with management at Wal-Mart on Tuesday, in regards to a suspect who had allegedly pushed a shopping cart full of merchandise out of the store without paying for it. The value of the merchandise was placed at $440.52. The report states there is suspect information, but those details were not listed.
