Sedalia Police officers responded to Scott Joplin Court around 9:00 Monday morning (Feb 6), to assist another agency with an investigation. During the the investigation, officers checked a subject's information through dispatch. The suspect had a misdemeanor FTA warrant from Pettis County. The suspect, 48-year-old Faustino Vasquez, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $2,500 bond.


Around 9:30 Monday night (Feb 6), officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of 10th Street and Ohio Avenue, for a vehicle with improper registration. The driver was revoked with two FTA warrants from Pettis County. The driver, 34-year-old Richard D. Taber, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $3,000 bond.

A passenger in the vehicle, 36-year-old Misty D. Bales, had a Saline County warrant for Child Neglect and a Pettis County warrant for a traffic violation. Bales was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail with a $5,000 bond.


Around 10:40 Tuesday morning (Feb 7), Sedalia Police officers arrested 37-year-old Jason L. Kreisel for a failure-to-appear warrant. Kreisel was taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $150 bond.
