On Monday night (June 18), Sedalia Police responded to the 600 block of W. 5th Street for a report of an assault. A woman claimed that a man came to her home demanding his money back. According to the report, the woman had sold the suspect, 19-year old Isaiah Glenn Cochran, a joint and he was not satisfied with with it. The woman allegedly told Cochran she did not have the money. Cochran then shattered the rear windshield of her vehicle, according to the report. The woman also claimed that Cochran hit and threw her to the ground while she was attempting to stop him from damaging her vehicle. Cochran was arrested and placed on a twenty-four hold at the Pettis County Jail for 3rd Degree Assault and 2nd Degree Property Damage.


On Monday night (June 18), Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop in the area of S. Missouri Ave and W. 15th Street for a Mazda with a headlight out. Officers reportedly spoke with the driver and two passengers. Investigation revealed one of the passengers, 17-year old Jacob A. Baker, was in possession of marijuana. Police arrested Baker for Possession of Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Baker was placed on a twenty-four hold in the Pettis County Jail.
