According to a press release from the Sedalia Police Department at 3:25pm Thursday the 4th of December the Sedalia Police Drug Enforcement Unit, along with the Criminal Investigation Bureau, Patrol Officers, and the K9 Unit executed a drug related search warrant at 2206 West 2nd Street Terrace. During the search of the residence Detectives and Officers located Methamphetamine, Marijuana, drug packaging materials and supplies, and drug paraphernalia. The K9 Unit was deployed and the K9 alerted to the presence of the odor of narcotics in various locations in the residence. The press release also states property that had recently been reported stolen in the same neighborhood was located in the garage. Arrested in the case is 24-year-old Holden Boyd Browning. At the time of the press release Browning was on 24-hours hold in the Pettis County Jail pending bond and a court date on charges of Distribution of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The active burglary case in which Holden is a suspect is ongoing, and formal charges are reportedly forthcoming.
