SFCC Horticulture Club Kicks Off Fall Mum Sale

The State Fair Community College Horticulture Club fall mum sale begins Sept. 11 in the greenhouse behind the Potter-Ewing Agriculture Building on the Sedalia campus.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday while supplies last.

Many different varieties are for sale, including Spellbound, Jack O’Lantern, Trick or Treat, Eventide Coral, Jacqueline Peach Fusion, Gigi Coral, Pomona Violet and Candy Corn Gigi Gold.

Single-colored mums are $8 each or three for $20. Tricolor mums are $10 each or three for $25.

The club will use the proceeds to buy equipment and supplies for the horticulture program and greenhouses and to fund educational trips.
