SFCC’s Kindle Named Outstanding Director

State Fair Community College has announced music director Dr. Chris Kindle was named the Outstanding District Director of the West-Central District earlier this month.

To receive this honor, Kindle was nominated by another director within the district and voted upon by the members of the Missouri Choral Director Association (MCDA) in the district.

Kindle recently completed a two-year term as the Resource and Repertoire Chair for two-year colleges, and was asked by the MCDA president-elect to serve another term in this position.

“I am honored to be recognized by my peers in an organization for which I hold sincere respect,” said Kindle. “I am looking forward to serving another term.”

This year’s MCDA conference was held July 18 – 21 in Springfield, Missouri.
