Before Marvel Studios' official panel later today at Comic-Con 2014, Marvel Animation gave a presentation that confirmed what we already suspected: the studio is prepping an animated 'Guardians of the Galaxy' series for Disney XD, which should help you bide the time between the first film and the planned sequel.

When it comes to upcoming movies being previewed at this year's Comic-Con, 'Penguins of Madagascar' feels like it may fly under the radar with the great geek masses. After all, there's no way a cute little spin-off from the 'Madagascar' series could steal the spotlight from the likes of Marvel or Warner Bros. However, if this new clip is any indication, this film is already going to have the children of the great geek masses in the bag, and that's all that matters, really.

Cutting through all of the badly photoshopped posters emerging from Comic-Con 2014 is the latest one-sheet for 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay,' which manages to stand out because it's stylish and doesn't feature its main character standing with his back to the camera while random debris flies around for no reason. In fact, this poster doesn't feature Katniss Everdeen or Peeta Mellark at all.

'Guardians of the Galaxy' has already begun screening for press and the early word is that it's good, lives up to the hype, is the kind of movie that 'Star Wars' prequels should have been and so on and so forth. And that's all well and good, but this is a Marvel Studios movie so we have one big question: what about the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' post-credits scene...

Are you guys ready for Comic-Con 2014? Fox has just given you another reason to get excited about the San Diego mega convention, with the reveal of the 'Dawn of the Planet of the Apes' Blu-ray set, which comes with a replica of Caesar's head, and can be pre-ordered exclusively at the con! It's one human-made product that we think even apes would approve of.

We've already heard about Disney's Marvel and Warner Bros.' DC lineups coming to Comic-Con 2014 (whether they've been officially confirmed or not), but what about that itty-bitty superhero property over in 20th Century Fox land, 'Fantastic Four'? The cast and crew have been on location in Louisiana filming for a couple months now, but will they be jetting to San Diego to appease the fans?
