As we all know, I am a sucker for animals. Just last week, the boyfriend and I nearly walked away with a dog after an adoption event. But rest assured, we walked away without the dog, and only because it's not feasible NOW to get one. We will have a dog when we're not living in a one bedroom apartment.
Blaine Whitworth 5K Remembrance Run to be Held in Warrensburg
In remembrance of William Blaine Whitworth, who was killed in a shooting last September in Warrensburg, the Go Big or Go Home fund will host a 5K run on Saturday, April 6 at 8:30 a.m., beginning at 115 N. Holden St. in Warrensburg.
LoCash Cowboys and Sedalia Lions Club Raise Over $900 for Children in Need
The Locash Cowboys put on a great show this past Saturday night (Dec. 15) at the Liberty Center. Part of the night's festivities was a silent auction, which included a couple of LoCash autographed guitars. The proceeds went to the Sedalia Lions Club Coats and Shoes program.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard Raises Over $3500 for Show Me Honor Flight
Kim Cupples and Bethany Cramer of Freddy's Frozen Custard in Sedalia and Jefferson City presented a check today (Dec. 13) to Show Me Honor Flight board members Tom Miller and Bob Chancellor. The check was in the amount of $3,523.00, reflecting the money donated by customers throughout November and a portion of the stores proceeds from Nov. 12.
