Sedalia VFW Hosts a Salute to War on Terrorism Veterans
February 25, 2013 The Sedalia VFW Post 2591 honored War on Terrorism Veterans with a lunch, pie auction and ceremony on Sunday afternoon (Feb. 24) at the Sedalia VFW Building. The lunch consisted of ham n' beans that was purchased and prepared by post member Bob Rinehart.
Cabin Fever Sports Show Success, More 3D and Turkey Shoots On the Way
February 8, 2013 Wow, what a weekend! The 2013 Cabin Fever Sports Show last weekend was awesome. Thanks a lot to all of the vendors who participated, and a special thanks to you, the attendees. We had double the attendance as the previous year, and we collected 272 pounds of food for the food pantry. What a great way to have some fun and do some good at the same time.
Wounded Warriors Travel to Sedalia to Hunt
November 15, 2012 Youth season was a success, with four out of the six kids we took out harvesting their first deer. We still have the second youth season to go, so I'm sure we'll get them back in the woods.
Last week we told you about Wounded Warrior Eric Stadler. We'll be taking him out hunting this morning just before seven more Wounded Warriors arrive in Sedalia for the first Wounded Warrior hunt in Pettis County.

October 19, 2012 I love this time of year, it's great for everything. Even though youth soccer is about over, I bet those kids still wish it was going on. My best friend's son plays, and what an awesome time it is with all of the parents, grandparents and kids outside at Clover Dell Park. It's also great to see the support for the high school football teams on those chilly nights. I just love being outside!
