Two Knob Noster residents and one Sedalia resident suffered moderate injuries in an accident on I-70 in Cooper County on March 19. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a westbound 2011 Chevrolet Traverse slid on wet pavement just before noon and traveled off the roadway and struck a rock bluff. The driver, 48-year-old Mary Garrett of Knob Noster, and two passengers, 28-year-old Joseph McNair of Sedalia and 29-year-old Leanese West of Knob Noster, were all taken by ambulance to University Hospital for treatment. The vehicle sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
