Winter Weather Advisory In Effect

.A Winter Weather Advisory is now in effect until at least midnight according to the National Weather Service.

A wintry mix of snow with a small amount of  sleet will end from west to east this evening. We could get anywhere between 2-3 inches in snow.

The roads will remain slick even after the snow ends. Drive with extreme caution.

A winter weather advisory means that periods of snow and sleet will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities and use caution while driving.

If you have to head out, be sure to check road conditions according to the Missouri Department of Transportation.
