Two people were recently arrested on drug charges in Benton County after authorities responded to a report of suspicious activity.

The Benton County Sheriff's Office says deputies, along with the Drug Task Force, responded to the Head Waters Motel about suspicious activities in room 16.

Upon investigation, it was reportedly discovered that 42-year old Robert D. Turner, of Warsaw, had an outstanding no-bond warrant for his arrest. Law enforcement says 34-year old Cecile A. Warren (unknown address) was also in the room.

After a computer check, it was discovered that Warren had an outstanding warrant from another county for burglary. Drugs packaged for resale and paraphernalia were reportedly discovered in the room.

Turner and Warren were arrested and charged with drug offenses.
