Victim reports being shot at Sunday afternoon
According to a Sedalia police report around 3pm Sunday afternoon a male victim came to the police station to report he had been shot at while he was driving in the area of West Pettis and North Ohio. The police report states the truck had damage consistent with being shot. There was no mention of any injuries in the incident, and there were no suspects at news time.
Sedalia man arrested on a Benton County warrant Sunday afternoon
At 3:14 Sunday afternoon Sedalia police responded to the 400 block of East 7th on a suspect with a failure to appear warrant. Upon arrival the warrant on the suspect, 31-year-old David T. Boggs Jr. of Sedalia was confirmed. At the time of the police report Boggs was in the Pettis County Jail pending an $8,000 cash only bond.
Property dispute leads to assault of a woman Sunday
Around 3:18 Sunday afternoon Sedalia Police responded to a residence in the 1100 block of East 13th in reference to an assault. Upon arrival the female victim told the officers two suspects known to her had forced entry to her home, and assaulted her due to a property dispute. The victim also said the suspects broke items in the house before leaving. The suspects had not been contacted at the time of the police report.
