Alec Baldwin Gets Married – See Photos of His Surprise Wedding

Alec Baldwin is officially hitched, as of the ceremony that took place Saturday evening, June 30th at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York. His lovely bride Hilaria Thomas, 28, is a yoga instructor in New York and a graduate of New York University. She was born on the Spanish island Majorca and grew up in Spain and Boston.

The couple met only last year, in February 2011, at the restaurant Pure Food and Wine. According to the bride, Baldwin approached her with the line “I must know you,” and handed her his business card. Despite the cheesiness, Thomas called the number and a year later they were engaged.

If changing her Twitter name from HilariaThomas to HilariaBaldwin is any indication, the bride has taken her husband’s name.

Over the weekend, Hilaria tweeted a picture of her wedding band. Baldwin did the same, but deleted his Twitter account for unknown reasons on Monday.
