Authorities continue to search for a suspect charged in the shooting death of a man last month in Boone County.

According to the Boone County Sheriff's Office, the shooting occurred Jan. 13, in the 200 block of Sarazen Drive of the Fairway Meadows subdivision.

The suspect, 60-year old Garland B. Wisely, remains at large and CrimeStoppers in Columbia/Boone County, MO is offering a reward for information leading to his capture.

Wisley has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder and Armed Criminal Action in the shooting death of 38-year old John R. Albers. Authorities responded to a home in the 200 block of Sarazen Drive shortly after 7 a.m. on January 13, for a report of a gunshot and found the victim deceased.

The investigation reportedly determined the suspect and the victim had been in a verbal argument prior to the shooting.

Information received indicates Wisley may still be in the mid-Missouri area. Wisley is a black male, 6’2" tall and weighs about 220 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

It was noted that all calls are confidential and a caller does not have to provide their identity to collect a reward.
